You even have the option to stay the night in a few of them! Learn more about Lake Michigan lighthouses and more, then plan your trip with Fernelius Toyota.

Cheboygan Crib Light

Located in our backyard, the Cheboygan Crib Light may be smaller than most lighthouses, but it’s mighty. It stands at the mouth of the Cheboygan River that faces Lake Huron and was erected in 1884. This little Cheboygan lighthouse only stands 25 feet tall, and is easily accessible by pier after being moved from a floating crib platform back in 1984.

Big Sable Point Lighthouse

At Ludington State Park, you’ll find Big Sable Point Lighthouse. This lighthouse is 112 feet tall, black and white striped, and has been honored as the 2013 Featured Lighthouse of the Year for the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival. Currently, the Sable Points Lighthouse Keepers Association is building funds to repair the lighthouse by selling engraved Trex boards that will be used in the new walkway. Take a tour today and help pave the way to this historical lighthouse.

Point Betsie Lighthouse

Point Betsie Lighthouse is located on the shores of Lake Michigan, allowing Petoskey and Indian River locals the chance to learn the history of this lighthouse as well as offer a stay in the Keeper’s Quarters. Reserve your stay, visit the museum and gift shop, or simply enjoy the view by the waters today.
